Financial Assistance Program
The Park District is dedicated to serving the residents of Oak Park, and distributes thousands of dollars annually through financial assistance to provide opportunities for residents to participate in Park District programs and facilities. The Parks Foundation provides proceeds from annual events such as the Frank Lloyd Wright Race, plus additional pop-up events, to support the financial assistance fund. We feel that a commitment to equity and diversity is what makes this community so strong. If you share our commitment, please consider donating to our financial assistance fund.
There are two forms of financial assistance available to the community:
Scholarship
Provides up to $300 in funding for each member of a household. These funds can be used for all programs and passes offered by the Park District of Oak Park and reduce up to 75% of the fee.
Childcare Discount Membership
Provides unlimited discounts ranging from 35-55% of full-day, in-house summer camps and school's out full-day activities.
